The great vast desert. Most of us are so used to the regular grind and hustle of modern life that we oftentimes tend to forget that places like this even exist. To some, the desert may be the last place on earth they would ever want to experience and to others, it’s a hot sandy adventure waiting to happen. While this kingdom of terrain alone is difficult to traverse, tearing up the dirt and rocks in a 4×4 is far easier, not to mention a day well spent. When it’s time to go home, I struggle with the thought of leaving this mysterious nothing behind. If only I could hail a cab back in the city and tell them to drop me off where the pavement ends.
