It’s the simpler things in life that seem to stand out the older we get. You’re less impressed by technology and just appreciate the good old things that built the memories you’re so fond of. I don’t know about you but I’d trade my smart phone and laptop right now if I could instantly be teleported back to the days of my youth and experience any one of my fondest memories. Swinging on tire swings, living life by campfire, swimming under the moonlight, up all nighters, endless hikes. On second thought, the more I think about it, I don’t think I have the energy to keep up with my younger self. Guess I’ll have to go with the next best thing. If you need me, you’ll find me lakeside with pickles and moonshine.
